The following are local neighborhood development projects affecting Presidio Heights.

3700 California StReet

In May 2022, Sutter Health put the former CPMC California Campus at 3700 California Street up for sale for an undisclosed sum. Previous plans to develop the site into residences designed by the architectural firm of Robert A.M. Stern were shelved by Sutter Health and the developer TMG.

3333 California StReet

As of 2021, Prado Group, the site developer, projected that it would begin breaking ground on this project by mid-2023. The project as designed will include 744 new residential units, 35,000 square feet of retail space, a child care facility and five acres of open space.
